Ok so I thought the rings at the top were breaking because careless people over tightened them. I owe all you fellow victims an apology. I'm 55 with arthritic hands. I also was very conscious of treating my vaults gently with an easy swirl and mine have still cracked. It's like the plastic ring at the top of the vault shrinks. It's been four months and two have cracked. This is stupid. So much for a good deal. Forget these and use a litter pail. Much cheaper and just as effective.

Extremely happy with this dog food storage container! Arrived fast, the product was just as described, love that there are handles on all four sides of the container and that the lid spins shut and is sealed so the dog food doesn't go stale. This container feels sturdy and so does the lid. Bonus: the free scoop included inside (the scoop also feels sturdy, not flimsy)! I use this storage container to hold 22lbs of dog food for my 53lb Rhodesian Ridgeback and I would definitely recommend this to other pet parents :)

We buy food that comes in resealable packaging. Doesn't keep the food as fresh/moist as this does. I didn't think it would actually hold as much food as it claims but we put a full 12 lb bag of food in it, then whatever was left in our current one and it had plenty of room to spare. Because of the size of food bowl we use (2 small ones for our cats), it's easier for us to use a small, plastic cup to pour the food rather than the scoop they give you but I appreciate that they thought of that. If you're utilizing a larger bowl, it'll work fine.

Love this container! I bought this one and Vittles Vault Outback Stackable 40 lb Airtight Pet Food Storage Container for dog and cat food. My dogs are master chewers and would chew through any cat/dog food container we had an eat to their heart's desires. Upon reading reviews, I found these containers and my dogs haven't been able to chew through them!
My only complaint is that they do not stack. I know the 40lb containers can stack on top of each other so figured the 15lb could sit on top of the 40lb. Unfortunately, that doesn't work and the 15 lb can just slide off. It's not a deal breaker though and I'm really happy with both containers!

I have had a dog get into a plastic container and eat himself sick twice. This container is great. I also bought the 40lb to hold the bulk of the 40lb bag in the garage and this one fits under the kitchen cabinet nicely. Kind of pricey but no edges for a dog to get their teeth in and gnaw away at. I have 2 of these since I have some dogs on senior food and the young one on adult. My only complaint is one came with a slightly stretched rubber gasket that falls off sometimes. No I havent emailed the company to see if they would send me one its not that bad and still seals well.
