Very well made
J. E. Hall•May 28, 2017
Somewhat of a novelty but very well made. I'll try to remember to pack it with my Zippo hand heaters next winter to have as a back up while hunting! Do you need it? Probably not, but as a 48 yo guy w/ a decent job & no kids I bought it because I thought I might be able to actually use it and the price was reasonable!
feels like aluminum. easy to fill and dispense

Does the job. Not extremely well constructed, but everything is as it should be, and as long as the fuel doesn't evaporate thats all i expect. It is very lightweight, feels like aluminum. easy to fill and dispense, keyring seems solid but clip I'm not sure i trust to hold fast. I do not have flints in the flint sleeve but I suppose they would hold fine in there, and i like the idea of the flat metal piece to unscrew the flint spring. It is on my keychain in case of an emergency, because i use my lighter infrequently i keep it empty to conserve fuel and this is the only way to ensure i have fuel when I need it and not evaporated. Large capacity.
Put it in a pocket!

Works as intended. Holds fuel and has a rubber flint holder and has no leaks. There was one problem. The lid that screws onto the unit has no grip and no ring or washer to close securely onto the bottom half. I'm had this on my backpack and somewhere on my hour hike it unscrewed and fell off. Now all i have left is a lid, keyring and rubber thing to hold flints. No fuel canister.
Better than Lugging a Fluid Can Around

If you own a zippo lighter then you probably know that your lighter goes through fuel very quickly. Nothing is more frustrating that trying to use your lighter in the middle of nowhere only to realize that all your fluid evaporated away or burned away during your last session. This little fluid canister will become your favorite Zippo accessory in those moments. However, until you actually find yourself in one of those moments you will most likely find this canister just big enough to be annoying on your keychain. I usually just keep mine in my car or stuffed into my backpack as it is more convenient and still always with you. If you play with your lighter too much, then please invest in your future pyro needs.
Once you screw the top back on with the o ring it makes a pretty nice seal

I know a few people found that this leaked, I have not had this issue.
This fuel canister really has 3 working parts. You have the main interior that holds the fluid. Once you screw the top back on with the o ring it makes a pretty nice seal. The top then unscrews and gives you access to the pour spout. This is the only reason I do no give this 5 stars. Their little hole they drilled to provide air flow for a smooth pour does not work well. Most of the time fluid seems to get stuck in that little hole blocking the smooth flow. I can always get the fuel out but it just is annoying.
Other than that this does exactly what is needs to. I will be taking it with me in my hunting kit. A lot easier to take a little bit than a lot.
