My son loved it. He's been asking for a tunnel. Works with all the standard wooden train sets. His Thomas the Train trains all fit in the tunnel. He has one off-brand train car with tall cargo that won't go through. We haven't had any issues with the top of the ramp staying on like another reviewer mentioned.

The best part I love about wooden train sets is that you can always find extra features to add to a set, so long as the pieces fit of course. This tunnel was a wonderful addition to my Maxim & Orbrium train sets. I combined multiple track sets together for my daughter and thought a tunnel would be a great addition, which it was. Now I have noticed the price of this item has increased since I purchased it, which at the time was $19.99. It is worth the price if you have an existing set large enough to connect it to.

My 3yo son and I have had so much fun with this tunnel! To help us find the top connector piece (which has 2 tiny dowels on its bottom) in his bag of train track pieces, I partially colored ours with a red permanent marker. I'm sure there's a more attractive solution, but this works for us.

Ok this piece deserves a better review. My son and I love playing with it. The tunnel is well made and good quality. The tunnel is long but the hole in the middle made for ramp allows you to push any train to the other side of the tunnel.
With that said, the ramp over the tunnel is poorly executed. The ramp falls apart every time we cross or attempt to cross it. My 3 years cannot connect the pieces without help and we become frustrated as the ramp always fall down when we transpose a train across them.
So we don't play with the ramp but love playing with the tunnel.
