The obi character is great. I completely agree with the other reviewer that stated that he looks very much like alec guiness. He really is a well-diressed, articulated figure. The light saber in his right hand is permanently attached and lights up when you push the button to hear him talk. The sound quality is very good. I really have no complaints about obi. In truth I bought this set to get the electronic version of him, which was otherwise unavailable on Amazon. I saw the regular figure (which does nothing special, just a regular doll) and not this type, so I bit the bullet and bought the set. So glad I did! Love this guy. No issues at all for me.

The vader figure is why I knocked a star off. The figure is 12 inches (same as obi) which is "ok." His right hand, like obi, is permanently attached to the light saber, and when you push the button on his side to hear him talk, the light saber lights up. For whatever reason, obi's saber kind of looks better than his red one. The red saber seems to have a more dull light than the blue one. Upon removing his outfit (which I needed for a different vader) I noticed that his body is black in the torso and right arm. The head is too small for the body and the helmet stays permanently attached. The rest of the body is flesh toned like a ken doll. He's an ok figure for a child to play with, but not for a discerning adult. We notice incorrect detailing!

Overall I would recommend the set if you are after a really nice obi figure. The vader figure is kind of a throw away so to speak, although I am very happy to have him as I needed his outfit for a different vader doll. That's an adult talking who displays items in a diorama. If I were a kid, and a fan of star wars, I'd be very, very happy with the set as-is. Cheers!

This is a pretty cool toy, Obi Wan looks like. Alec Guiness and Vader looks good too, tho his head is kinda small. They both have light sabers that light up at the touch of a button and Obi Wan says four phrases, but only one is from the duel scene. Vader doesn't have any sounds but maybe mine is broken. I would have preferred if there were only sounds of the light sabers. Still I got it for $30 so it was a good deal. Now I see it selling for $60, not such a good deal.
