Makes perfect Massaman curry! I can know cook it at home instead of paying $13 a bowl! The only issue is the recipe printed on the container is so small, I had to magnify and write it on paper. Also, 14 oz is a lot, so I ended up not using it all up in a reasonable amount of time... but the curry is delicious as is the recipe.

Good flavor. Good quality. This is a hard to find product in local outlets so buying from Amazon makes sense.

Was a little concerned about this because I have celiac, but this worked great, no problems with ingredients and helped me make delicious, delicious curry. Love!

I ordered it once and found it to be good. Some of the other reviews I've read mention a lack of tamarind. Most of the recipes I have used call for the addition of tamarind or lime. Once you add that to the curry paste it comes out fine.
My second order was disappointing. The container that arrived was 4 months past the expiration date on the package. Amazon was very good about crediting me for the purchase. A little reluctant to re-order now. I may try the Maesri.

This really made a great Massaman curry, but we found that it tasted even better after adding a bit more of some of the spices to it. It may just be personal preference, but we felt it had the perfect amount of Thai spices,but needed a bit more of the Malaysian and Indian inspired spices. We added a little more cinnamon, clove and anise to it and ended up with an utterly pleasing-to-the-palate chicken and sweet potato curry that we served to our family for dinner! There were no leftovers! My mother-in-law is an INCREDIBLE chef (I've been jealous of her talent in the kitchen since my wife and I started dating lol) and she said "This is the best thing I have tasted in years!" as she went for her third helping of our curry! I feel honored to recieve such a compliment from someone with her aptitude and years of experience in the kitchen!
