The idea and overall design for these pads is great. However if you have to trim to fit you may run into issues if you don't have the skill or proper tools to make exact cuts, especially fitting two ends together into a corner. Maybe the company could offer an option to personalize the fit so you don't have to make adjustments in lengths.
I would also suggest getting a stronger adhesive. The tape they come with will work but it's obviously not going to hold for long.
