FANTASTIC...very heavy duty, well made, and relatively easy to put together...would have been much easier with a helper, not a young child though. I could not be more happy with this goal - price is great too

With the right tools (must use socket wrench) this goes to together easily. However you must pay attention and read directions several times, making sure you look at the diagrams and making sure you have proper parts and correct sides. Very well made and sturdy. My kids are 5yrs apart so they love the adjustable height!!!

After reading the reviews I was not going to try and install this system myself so I hired the Amazon Home Service team and I am glad that I did. When they got to the part about installing the rim and the compression springs for the break away feature they discovered that 2 of the hooks that hold the net were broken and the compression springs were not included, Zip ties were used to connect the net to the rim so the kids could still shoot hoops. I called Amazon and they said that they do not stock parts but were very understanding and said that I could send back the system - that was not happening since it was assembled and disassembly was out of the question. The unit came in a large case and weighs in at 109llbs.. I told them that I would contact Lifetime and put the ball back into their court. Lifetime was excellent that said that I would receive a new rim and compression springs within 5-7 business day. On the 7th day the parts arrived. I contacted Amazon Home services and they were also excellent. An appointment was made and the rim and missing parts installed at no charge. It was discouraging that after having spent all this money that parts were missing and the rim damaged, However all is well, both Amazon and Lifetime stand behind their promise of 100% guaranteed satisfaction.

It took my husband and 2 sons and nephew at least 3 days to put together. the instructions could have been more detailed for the lay person. Once constructed the boys love it

We did have a part of the backboard that was broken when we received it but it was very easy to call Lifetime and they quickly sent us the part that we needed to fix it.
