Deluxe Aggravation doesn't play right.

Been playing this for years; bought it from a local store. Aggravation is the deluxe version with the "circle". On the board game, when you start on the circle, you have to end on the circle; in this game, you can go off and finish your turn anywhere, and have to if you roll a six and your only movable piece is on the six. One time I had two guys going in home, one on the circle, and rolled a six; my only move was to take the guy on the circle around and go off where I was further away; I could not pass.
Parcheesi is also good, except for those occasional glitches where you use part of a roll, but the rest of the roll is not movable, so the game moves you back, and you lose the part you already used. And when you're moving your last guy in, and roll doubles, like the other guy complained.
And because of computer random, games like Yahtzee are just not fun.

PROS- Overall, I like this collection of software. It works beautifully on Windows 8, as promised. The controls are clear, though I'm still looking for a way to shut off the announcements that pop up during Parcheesi. I KNOW how to play the games, so I don't need reminders as I go.
CON- Just one, but I considered whether I should take off one or two stars for it, since it's SO annoying. It's a programming glitch that appears in Parcheesi when you've got a piece or pieces positioned to go into home at the end of the game. If you roll doubles, it will automatically refuse you the right to move and tell you there are not available moves, even when there are moves available to you. It's even more annoying when you roll (for instance) double twos, and you only need two to get into home. Since you can use one die to move and forfeit the other on any other roll, it's an error to not be able to do the same with doubles. BAD programming there.

An Okay Purchase

I was able to install this CD Rom on my Vista 64 bit Windows computer. I played Yahtzee against
the programmed A.I. computer and I felt that the quality of the A.I.'s play was not quite up to par.
I read reviews that this CD Rom will also install on a Windows 7 computer, though I'm not sure
about a Windows 8. Once the game is installed, you do not have to have the CD loaded for the
games to play. An okay purchase.
