This roll is much thicker than the one I got at my therapy site -- I expected the "original" to be the same size. It works in some chairs, but is not as versatile as the slimmer version.

I've been using this product for 90 days now and so far I am enjoying the support it provides. I do think that at $24.95 this is expensive. For the price I would expect the elastic belt to have a solid plastic buckle on it which would make things much better. Under daily use, the fabric seems to be holding up well (mostly use on sofa, office chair, and plastic adirondack chair outdoors). I'm wondering how well the product will provide support into the future. I would like to see this product with the suggested mod and at a $20 price point.

I've suffered from lower back pain since college, and at age 34 it got bad enough to put me off work for a week. My dad recommended the Mackenzie book and to start using lumbar support while sitting. I now own three of these, one for the car, one for work, and one for home. The lower back pain I used to experience while sitting for long periods of time is relieved and I haven't missed work due to back pain. The improvement with posture I think also helps with neck pain. I'm now seeing these everywhere at the hospital where I work. Some of the guys bought the firm version. My pregnant and very petite coworker bought the smaller size also offered on Amazon. For me the regular size and density is perfect. Highly recommend this product.
