Fence is solid cast iron and the fences were true out of the box. The adjustments for the fences need some redesigning. All adjustments are hex head not knobs and the fence adjustments around the cutter are Phillips. Don't get me wrong everything does what they are intended to do but speed of set up could be simplified with some knobs. If you plan on mounting this to a top and have to drill and tap some genius decided to supply a 1/2'-12 thread for the hold downs bolts.
