High Quality and works like it should

I use these for sprue trimming on plastic models. They work great! (recently purchased the longer version to get into tighter areas) I have never cut metal with them, I assume they would work on jewelry.
I have had some competitors cutters and they do not compare. Xuron makes a great quality product at an affordable price.

Does NOT cut flush

I bought this to remove metal photo-etched model parts from their carrier sheets without leaving a cut stub on the part. It can't cut close enough to do that. Disappointing.
it can safely get buried in my drawer of other useless tools.

It works, but the one I got didn't line up properly so the cuts it makes are far from flush. I compensated by cutting further away and filing.
Serves me right for not spending the additional money for something of higher quality, but, I don't really do a lot of modelling anymore anyways. So, it can safely get buried in my drawer of other useless tools.

Good Starter Cutters, High Quality for the price

These are nice nippers, but not the best. They are fairly small in the hand and do not spring back a lot, which is a downside for me. They cut nicely but still leave apparent stress marks. These are good for the price, and do not feel cheaply made. I would recommend these for someone starting out in the model building hobby.

I bought these to use for building a Gunpla kit. They worked great for the first kit, but then they began to perform a bit worse . I contacted Xuron and they sent me a replacement and prepaid return envelope in a couple of days. This way I would have one to use while I shipped this one back so they could investigate. They contacted me and told me the rivet was loose, and they corrected the issue and shipped it back to me, telling me to keep the other pair for the trouble. Not only do the products work well, Xuron customer service is some of the best I've ever seen.
