Comfortable grip, but the blades aren't hard enough to keep an edge!

Comfortable grip, but the cutting edges dulled quickly -- I find that I have to use a new point on the edges as it wears out, and I'm soon out of places to cut wire at which point I will have to toss it.. A disappointment, to say the least; especially since I have another snip, same size but of unknown brand, and not as comfortable a grip, that have served me well for literally(!) decades. I only bought this new one because I mislaid the old one; but I'm happy to report that I finally found my old snips anyway.

Good compact wire cutters. Comfortable grip and cuts flush.
-HOWEVER-
I have used these to cut various types of small-gauged soft metal wires (copper, aluminium, lead) with no issues. I used these to cut double twist steel safety wire 0.032 in thick and it chipped the cutting surface. These shipped in a nondescript plastic bag with no advisories and there is no advisory along the lines of "CUT COPPER ONLY" stamped on the tool. Be aware of that.

This is almost like a dual purpose cutter because the tip of the cutter is thin. I can use it to cut large stranded wires and also slip the tip in tight space to cut zip ties, etc with no issue. I also like the bigger grip since I will be using this in the garage workshop. The grip is not thin like my other hobby Xcelite cutters and pliers I use for other hobbies.
