in my opinion the best condenser mic for vocals under $100
P.S.✓ Verified PurchaseSeptember 22, 2017
I did a lot of research before purchasing , on you tube and internet, for the price this is , in my opinion the best condenser mic for vocals under $100, I've worked with some high end mics before and this one outshines them, have not used it on instruments, but for vocals it catches the nuances of you voice and has a great well balanced sound
A nice servicable mic

After using this mic for a week I find it quite nice. I'm using it with a behringer 1202 board for phantom power and preamp into an M-audio interface. My use for it is reading for librivox and other voice work. I find it has a very mellow open top end and very full bottom, almost too much if you're using it close up but there's a switchable 150 hz high pass filter that tames the proximity effect nicely. Like many condensers I've used in the past it's very easy to p-pop so invest in a pop filter ($20 from guitar center or amazon) and the shock mount isn't a bad investment either. I find the mic well built and solid enough. The shockmount feels a little fragile but only a little. It's not a shure SM58 so it needs some gentle treatment but I think it's a nice addition to a semi-pro home studio.
Had no problems with delivery at all.
Excellent price for a quality product!

Purchased the V67G for my podcast/screencast works. The previous condensor mic i used (Takstar SM-8B) was horrible as it created a loud static noise due to grounding issue. V67G came out excellent straight out of the box once I hooked it up to phantom power. Vocals are warm and clear, background hiss is almost non-existent. For the price, it further sweetens the deal.

Add a pop filter to it, you are on your way to record great quality audio at a very affordable price. Build quality is decent, and packaging comes with a pouch and a stand adapter (not shock mount). Color itself will make you stand out!
OUTSTANDING Mic for the price!

LOVE this Mic!!! I was looking for a high quality XLR Mic under $100 for podcasting, and boy does this thing deliver. The sound is crisp, and works great with my mixer. I really dig the retro look.

What I don't really care for is the stand mount that came with it. It will work, but it's definitely not a shock mount. Fortunately, it fit the shock mount that I already have.

If you're looking for a great quality Mic for under $100, you won't be disappointed with this one.
different vocals might sound different for a mic but I felt this mic was the best for me

You can call me an amateur musician. As an amateur musician who is also a novice at sound engineering, with average mic preamp, audio interface (for a/d conversion), I would say this mic is ideal. I bought other popular mics, and they somehow seemed more colored than this mic. This mic to me is more of a neutral warm sounding mic, that is more dark than bright. Of course, different vocals might sound different for a mic but I felt this mic was the best for me, a good value mic.
