REALLY BIG, FOR BETTER OR WORSE

It works well but it's ENORMOUS. The sponge head is 12" long -- 3" longer than my old Quickie mop, whose handle broke irreparably. It would be great for a McMansion, but very awkward to use in my average-size apartment kitchen; it requires a lot of maneuvering to get it into corners and under base cabinet overhangs. I suppose I should have double-checked the dimensions before ordering, but who knew that mops came in different sizes. (Not I, and old Auntie has been mopping since the beginning of time). I assumed that the words "extra wide" in the product description actually meant extra wide, not extra long.

We had this mop for less than two months and it has broken to the point of being unusable. Some of the plastic the holds the mop in place snapped. What a waste! Of course, the return window closed a week earlier.

My old one rusted out and so I spent a rather large amount on the new one. I had purchased refill heads for my prior mop and was dismayed to realize the new one is longer so I think my 3 replacement heads I had bought earlier are useless. Also I found it amusing that the mop came with the sponge head attached, and wrapped in heavy plastic, but the directions for how to remove the head for replacement was buried against the frame of the mop, so unless you already knew how to get the thing off, you might break those cheap plastic toggles trying to figure out whether they turn a quarter turn, or in opposite directions. Turns out they just screw off (righty tighty lefty loosy), but you had to figure that out for yourself since the directions were not visible. Does anybody think this stuff through???? Anyway, the mop is great after all the chaos.

I bought one of these with the cathedral ceiling handle about 20 years ago. I only use it about twice a year. When a plastic piece on it broke, I bought this thinking it would be a replacement, since it is the same company. My original one has an amazing mop head. This one is cheap and shoddy and will fall apart soon. The company should be ashamed of themselves for selling such crap, after originally selling such great products. If i hadn't thrown the box away, I would have returned this.

I find that this works absolute perfectly for sweeping up the floor before mopping. It picks up and moves everything including sand from our shoes. The sand and crumbs can be easily picked up. This green microfiber can be vacuumed with my hand vacuum, and thrown in the washer when needed. It's so quick and easy to use.
