Casio watch works great.

Fits great. Metal housings last. Plastic ones can crack over time.
I had a similar Casio which lasted about 15 or more years. But I accidentally dropped it and the housing where the band pin is, fractured.
Stylish and crazy affordable

I do not think you can find many watches of this type at a better price. It has great 70s/80s style with a metallic case and bracelet. Sure, it shows how much it's worth (or rather not worth) up close, but I really think the A168 punches well above its price at under thirty dollars. I picked this over the more popular A158 because it's a little chunkier and has a far superior light system (electro luminescence. I actually like the busier face of the A168 with all of its varying colors of text. It's one of the reasons I like my 90s chic DW-290 so much.

This is also one of the simplest, straightforward functioning watches I own. It's got a timer, an alarm, and not much else. The buttons are not recessed at all and super easy to press. One of the modes takes you directly to the time configuration screen. I didn't need to consult the manual at all to get started with this watch.

It's got 20 M water resistance but I don't think that really means anything. I'm not sure why'd you take this swimming anyway.

I own a few watches around the $500 dollar range but I'm constantly wearing my Casios. They might not have the prestige of other watches but they look damn good.
A watch for those who know

This is the same watch that Ryan Gosling will sometimes wear. there are two types of people that wear this watch. One that loves cheap and reliable time tellers, and one that has transcended the exuberance and gaudiness of Rolex, AP, Patek. It's a Watch for those who know, know. On the fly micro adjustment, a strap that is way too comfortable for less than $100, a do everything and anything watch.
Solid Watch

I bought this watch exactly 2 years and 7 months ago, and it hasn't left my wrist since. It's in pretty rough shape as the glass is cracked in several places and there are scuffs on the watch face, but overall, I can still tell the time and everything is as functional as the day I bought it. I'll probably replace it sooner than later but only for aesthetic reasons. Definitely recommend it
Almost Perfect

Pros:
-Looks great, very retro
-Cheap
-Has alarm, great light, and stopwatch
-Steel band feels surprisingly good, fits anything from very skinny to wide wrist, doesn't pull hair very often
-chromed plastic case feels pretty sturdy

Cons:
-band requires tool to adjust (any glasses screwdriver is fine)
-band adjustments aren't described in the book. There are some tricks to learn--it can only be locked into place at certain points on the band, and if you aren't in one of those places you can push super hard and it won't latch. Once you figure it out it's fine though.
-no countdown timer (big bummer)

One of the other commenters on here said that the stopwatch sometimes freezes. It does not. It has a split second feature that allows you to clock a lap or something and see the time without actually stopping the stopwatch. It's a feature, not a bug. Just need to read the manual.

I like this watch!
