Great Slant Board, especially for the price, with 2 areas that could use some attention from the manufacturer.

Overall the Phoenix 99255 Adjustable Slant Board is a nicely designed product; the pads for the feet and legs are thick and comfortable and the bench cushion is firm and comfortable. The pleather or vinyl covering seems durable and actually looks much better in person than in the picture on the product page.
My only criticisms of the slant board are that the hole that the bar for the leg pads on the top of the front support is not drilled to tight tolerances so the bar has a lot of play in it, I had to put a few wraps of electrical tape on the bar to lessen the movement. The other criticism is that the cotterless hitch pin that is supposed to keep the front support in place, is way to small for the holes, so it falls out very easily if bumped or touched. I fixed this problem by purchasing a 1/2" locking hitch pin and a 1/2" drill bit and drilled the holes in the support to 1/2" to accommodate the new hitch pin. It fits very snuggly now and will not fall out and has greatly increased the stability of the board. I would do the same to the holes for the other support if I ever needed to use it as a normal bench.

Very happy w/this. It doesn't take up much room, offers a good decline angle and feels secure when I'm on it. Easy to set up.
Sturdy and well made

I keep my bench in my home office for a quick stretch or when I don't want to go to the gym. Sturdy and well made. Perfect for crunches and dumbbell lifts.
Good.. but,

It was what I expected, except for 1 thing, it was wobbly.. it didn't affect my workout although it did made me feel uncomfortable just because it was messing with my mind that I'm not evenly laying down on the board. But other than that, it's a good equipment.
Durable and Strong, Crappy Pleather, Small Enough, Great Value

Once assembled, this slant board is sturdy and great for arm and chest exercises. I've had this bench for over five years and I still use it. It was a bit difficult to assemble, as a couple of components didn't quite fit together cleanly. With a little muscle, I was able to force the components together. Also, the leather (or pleather, rather) breaks easily. I laid the edge of a dumbbell onto it and punctured a small hole in just a few months of using it. I with there was a more steep slant as I don't feel it is enough for stomach crunches. I get about the same workout with crunches with this board as I do on the floor.
But wow, this board is durable. I've had it for years and originally purchased it because it offered a lot in relatively little space (at the time of purchase, I lived in 1 bedroom). It's still pretty sizeable when you fold it up, but it does make it manageable. For example, if I push my shirts to one side of the closet, I could fit it in there when I had guests. My friends have pressed over three hundred pounds on this and never felt unsafe using it, unlike a few of the benches we saw at Walmart and Big 5. In other words, you can use it like a bench is supposed to be used, and you don't have to overly careful around it.
Bottom Line: Durable and doesn't take up too much room.
