Fantastic product that is incredibly easy to apply, looks fantastic and cleans up easily. I've used it in my apartment workshop because the odor is very slight and - I think - not toxic. I'd give this stuff five stars if not for the stupid containers that make neat pouring virtually impossible.

This stuff is pretty amazing! I knew Tartan had used this to finish the interior of my sailboat originally and decided I would try and revitalize the neglected finish by doing it all over again. So far I have rubbed the watco into 4 teak frames that were water stained. The manual on the boat had said the rubbed in two stages. One wet sanding with 320 grit wet/dry sand paper and then again with 400 grit. I have so far done this on these frames and they look amazing. Tartan also said the topped it off with Watco wax. I have not done that yet as I wanted to wait the 72 hours before the last phase. I'm not sure this was necessary. I'm going to take some before and after photos on a really badly stain drawer face and try and post here if I can. The frames look great even without the wax. I can't wait to see them with the wax. This is not a maintenance free finish but with hand rubbed wood I didn't expect that. You always have to oil teak periodically and always have to add varnish at least once a year so, adding a coat of wax every year is no more work that oiling once a year and i think this method will keep it from growing darker and darker. (I Hope!!)

I've used Watco (now Rust-Oleum) Danish Oil for decades with no problems, ever. Application is simple, easy, almost foolproof unless you don't wipe off the excess oil - then it will dry to a sticky film but this can be fixed by applying another coat. Just follow directions on the can and it works great. Highly recommended.

This is a fabulous product that I never knew came in so many colors since the local home store only has 2..(dark and light)
Do yourself a favor and get it here at a fair price, maybe you'll even find a few finishes you didn't know about. Keep in mind it can be thinned or mixed to create a custom color and a heavy heavy first application will yield a darker end result with steady reapplication for the first few hours prior to the 1st buff off.

Great product that hides scratches while at the same time protects the furniture from cracking. NOTE: This can not be applied over a polyurethane type finish. That would require sanding to remove the old polyurethane before applying the Danish Oil. The Danish Oil provides a hard drying satin finish which helps protect against scratches and water. If you get a scratch, simply rub on some Danish Oil and it disappears. Easy to apply.
