Great handles...

These are great on my pot handles that get really hot and save me having to use a pot holder! I love them! (I wish they were a little bit - even 1/2"-wider to have a larger area to grip, but I understand the size makes them fit more handles.) You can easily remove them and hand wash them while your pot goes in the dishwasher.

First problem: Can't get these extremely dense, inflexible things onto the pot handles. Secondly, THESE ARE NOT SILICONE. They look like waste rubber, but the maker has not disclosed the material. If they're rubber or contain any rubber, there should be a latex warning. Third, THEY ARE NOT OVENPROOF. The package says "Remove before baking or broiling" and "Do not expose to direct flame," so all you folks with gas stoves, beware.
These are definitely not what I had expected and are not usable, so they're going back. I'm very unhappy that the seller did not disclose these facts about these grips in the listing, especially the part about not being ovenproof. If either of those facts had been revealed, I'd never have bought them.

Lid handle can slip within the holder

I have the All Clad tri ply stainless steels pots and pans. These fit on the lid handles but are loose enough that if you lift the lid and hold it at an angle the lid can slide within the holder and touch your hand.
These would work well if they were tighter.
