Love the pot and way the coffee tasts.I have found though, that in order to have a quick pot, I heat water to boiling in a sauce pan first, then transfer hot water to Medelco. Is worth a little extra step. Also, the amount of coffee used is less than a drip maker. Love the taste! Am glad I purchased it!

I purchase this for my parents RV, and my mother loves it period uses it every morning and it really does make a great cup of coffee. Downside it's not that quick but it's worth it. Just make sure you get the right setting on your grounds.

Good Product, A Few Complaints But Overall Quality

My only complaint is the plastic basket and pump stem, the first time I made coffee the stem warped. It doesn't affect the way the coffee comes out, it's just kind of cheesy. One thing I think they could have improved as well is the size of the basket, If you're making 32 oz of strong coffee the grounds overflow into the coffee. I have to say though, the coffee is wonderful, it's not bitter no matter how strong you make it, and the short comings can be remedied by just living with a bent stem and pouring the last of the pot through a fine mesh strainer.
