Flimsy Clasp

I've used this for about a year and a half pretty frequently. At some point, I think another cyclist might have bumped the frame while it was locked in my bike room. It bent the basket enough that it the clasp no longer aligns. Overall the basket still works well but I have to use a binder clip to keep it closed. I wish the clasp was a little more resilient.

Not too big or too small, just enough for my daily shopping. Sadly, my bike was stolen several days after the installation(nothing to blame with the basket) so I didn't have many chances to use it. I'm willing to buy another one after I get my new bike.

Great pannier baskets on my bike. I did have to move them back a couple of times as I kept clipping them with my heels on the commute. Two of them are roomy enough for my purse, change of clothes/shoes, lunch, and my growler-as-water bottle. I added a bungee net to keep stuff from bouncing out of the baskets.
The openings in the mesh sides are large enough that I can pass my cable through when I secure my bike on the rack at work, so I'm confident nobody will swipe my baskets or my bike :D I used a boatload of industrial zipties to secure each basket on my rear rack; after I found the best position for them I added a couple of hose clamps for extra security.
I've been using these for about 6 months now, rain and shine. The baskets still look great and I have no problem knocking them flat or popping them out.

Compared to the Waal version, this is a bit wider and not quite as stiff. More attractive (black coated rather than bare galvanized). The clearance when swinging down the floor panel is tight: you will have to really bend the second-from-bottom bar out (by bending the whole outside) to get the locking tooth into its hole for locking down, but it's worth the effort and the mesh floor is a real advantage. I don't mind carrying cased DVDs in it (for example) that I worried about falling through the Waal. Attaches the same way; supplied cable ties were effective as long as you have a parcel rack on your bike to which the inner top can be pivoted.
