I was inspired by Mr. Wonka . Went on Amazon tried to play the tune. My wife says I nailed but no Oompa Loompas! I guess I need to buy the book. I recommend it!

The whistle I received is NOT a Walton's Mellow D, it's a regular Walton's D. Still a good whistle, just not what I thought I was getting. And yes, there is a difference.

The store was great but the whistle was not in key. Not one note was in key. I gave this whistle to a child and will avoid this brand. Funny thing is I just bought a "Mellow Dog" whistle and it is the best ever. Wish the Walton company would check out the product before it sends them out.
Excellent value in an inexpensive whistle

Very nice for a mass produced whistle that hasn't been tweaked. The fipple was a little out of line when I received it, but I was able to fix that by soaking that end in some hot water for a few seconds to loosen it up and just giving it a little bit of a twist. It has a nicer tone than my standard Waltons brass D whistle and is in tune through two octaves. A very good value.

I like it. I mean I'm not that great so it doesn't sound that great, but yeah. I don't know, I just feel it's quite off. I am a beginner anyway so it's good.
