Normally Diamond Naturals is great, but this bag gave my dog major stomach issues

I'll preface this by saying that my dog has eaten and done great on Diamond Naturals for the past year and a half. I've switched between the chicken and the beef, depending on what shipping was available, and neither has ever given him an issue.
I recently ordered a bag of this kind (the chicken), and after transitioning him to half and half (half diamond naturals beef that he'd been having, half diamon naturals chicken that he's had in the past with no issues, the stomach issues started.
I've come home the past two days and found disgusting messes on my light carpets (that seem to be ruined), and my dog is 100% house trained. His poops outside haven't been solid. I am getting replacement food asap, but I am so disappointed by a product I've had so much success with. I'm not sure if I got a faulty bag of food, or what, but it's been an awful experience.

This is my second bag of Diamond Naturals, first one was the regular adult food as beef meal flavor. Compared to that one, this large breed formular offers more calcium, but the bite shape and the flavor all looked less attractive to my gsd girl. She hardly finish her bowl after I give it to her anymore. She still eats it and will finish, but I can tell it's a more plain food for her. Will switch between formulars after this bag is done. Btw different batches seemed to have different bite size, I think keep it constant will make costomers feel better.
