Average fit but more Velcro than I would like. The binder is rather stiff

Average fit but more Velcro than I would like. The binder is rather stiff, and the extra Velcro can find skin to irritate. I would not purchase one again.

GREAT SUPPORT for those that have problems spraining their side muscles from chronic sneezing fits....such as myself!

I have separated recti muscles due to hernia surgery almost three years ago. I have been wearing the binder for 4 weeks and I am pleased with the results I have seen so far. I do have the usual abdominal binder complaints.....the binder rides up at times and can be hot and itchy. Also, as my recti muscles contract, the binder becomes too big and stops applying significant pressure. My husband had a simple solution for this; he simply uses safety pins to make the binder smaller and that modification has worked like a charm! Well pleased with this binder. Glad I bought it!
Excellent binders!

I have been using Ita Med binders for several years now. I have tried other binders but have found that these are the best for me. They are quite firm and comfortable, and they do not roll up easily like the thinner binders. I have just ordered two more and will continue to use them as long as I need them.
Worked well for postpartum belly

I chose this after considering MANY options. I didn't like the options that had a panty/crotch attached, as it seemed it would be a real hassle to use the restroom, need washing more often, and be more uncomfortable. I liked several other waist binding options, but didn't want to spend a large amount of money on one or they didn't have a small enough size. I finally settled on this binder. I am/was very pleased with it. I found it comfortable on my skin (even though it says to wear over fabric), it didn't bunch up much, and had enough adjustability to put on 3 days after delivery and take me back to almost normal size. I did run out of Velcro, but found that the Velcro stuck to the fabric fine anyway, so it was able to go small enough for my waist. Pre pregnancy I had a 25" waist, and although I haven't measured, I'm back in my regular clothes and am skinny (although still soft and fluffy). I think this helped me shrink back down faster, although it does nothing for toning - that's what exercise is for. The other thing it helped with majorly was back support. It really helped me feel supported and more comfortable. I am now 3 weeks postpartum and still put it on when my back is hurting to help feel relief. I did find that this laid flat enough to wear under clothing if one wanted to, but not tight tops. I preferred to only wear mine at home during the day when I could take it off if I desired. Unless you wear low rise underwear, this will go over them, making using the restroom somewhat of a hassle - you either need to take it off or pull on it to adjust everything again. Basically if you want an affordable option to help put things back and give you back support after pregnancy, this would be a good option for you.
