I love Nutritional Yeast and Bob's Red Mill is one of my favorites! While I find only subtle differences in the flavor of the different brands of yeast on the market, Bob's is one of my favorites! It's easy to find (at most health stores) and affordable! It's great on popcorn, veggies and pasta! It mimics cheese in flavor. I can eat it by the spoonful! My only complaint about Bob's is the package.... Most other brands come in a plastic container which is easier for storage and use. Bob's comes in the bag but I reuse one of the containers from another brand. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT!

Great stuff. Has Vitamin B12 which can be hard to come by. Easy to add to food for flavor and nutrition. I like adding it to my homemade fries with some chili powder and cayenne to make vegan "chili cheese" fries. BIG NOTE: Your urine will turn bright yellow. This is from your body shedding the extra B6. Don't be alarmed. It's completely natural and normal. It's just a little something different that not everyone might be aware of. :D

The yeast flakes are fluffy and stir quickly into liquids or food, and have amazingly high amounts of vitamins in just a teaspoonful.
I don't taste any cheese that most others mention; it tastes like nutri yeast to me, not at all like parmesan or other cheeses, but it has a very pleasant flavor, no aftertaste, and it definitely improves the flavor of things it's added to. And that is a Lot of yeast for the price. If you're using it for vitamin requirements if will last a long time !

Bob's products never seem to disappoint and this nutritional yeast is no exception. It always seems to be fresh and has great flavor. As a vegan this is a staple item in my pantry and gets used in many recipes to add a "cheesy" nutty flavor.

I like that this product is both high quality, and inexpensive. Overall I feel like I'm getting a good value when I buy this.

After opening I store it in a large gallon mason jar to keep it fresh. When I see it starting to get low I order another bag and refill my far.

I bought this product because I was told the Brewers Yeast is a great galactogogue, it was also in quite a few nursing cookie recipes. I searched quite a bit for the best quality I would find on amazon,and I truly believe Bob's is the best. I got to reading the package before I ever tried it, did you now their employee's own the company? How amazing is that? I had to purchase this product, solely on good company wok ethics. Now when I finally opened it I noticed the first obstacle. It STUNK! It smells like feet and cheese. :( Which really sucks, because, like I said, there are so many recipes that call for this. I wanted to taste it before putting it in my recipe, so I added a little bit to water and took it like a shot. It tasted like feet, but I had a friend that was with me, laughing hysterically, and she said that her knock off brand smelled way worse. I couldn't bare the taste of putting this in oatmeal cookies, so instead we made the cheesy popcorn recipe that the bag has listed on the side. I figured anyone shipping this out to someone taste doesn't know how to cook with it must be onto something with this recipe. It has a VERY cheesy taste without being cheese, so of course this recipe was an awesome fit. We no longer smelled feet, we just tasted a great nacho flavored popcorn. I guess my opinion of this product, at first, was a little skewed. After we began cooking recipes that embraced it's natural flavor we began to appreciate the taste. I love this company, I trust their quality of products. Be aware this might be hard to eat or drink by itself, but with the right recipes this tastes great. Oh, and did I mention it definitely helps nursing mothers! I was able to pump 2 extra ounces after snacking on Nacho Popcorn for a day!
