This replaced a Shure M97xe which developed a hum after only 12 years! I like it as well. I find it smooth, balanced, good sounding on every record I've played with it. Definitely a good value. I'm too old to tell if it goes past 12K!
Rich sound for the price

I put this on a vintage Pioneer PL-550 and was thoroughly impressed. The install was easy with the included screws and screwdriver. The sound is very warm, not too muddy and not too bright. I've barely started to break it in, so I can only imagine that this will improve after a few more spins.

Can't say, it turned out to be too heavy for the tone arm. But a friend immediately offered to buy it for a table, and he's happy.
