Buyer Beware!!! unzip and confirm what layers of foam your mattress really has...we were surprised to only find 2 layers...not 4
HCM✓ Verified Purchase•May 3, 2017
I would suggest that everyone who has purchased one of these mattresses to take the time to unzip the cover and look at the foam layers included. I ordered two 12" XL Twins for our use at home with a new split-king adjustable bed sourced elsewhere. The mattresses delivered to our home are far different from those described in this offer. Instead of four distinct layers of foams, ours have only rwo. Our mattresses DO NOT INCLUDE the "two 2" state of the art foam layers". Instead we got 3" of blue foam (assumed to be gel) and 9" of base foam. The nine inch layer does have some cut outs that look like they are intended to assist the mattress if intended for use on an adjustable bed. None the less, we are dissapointed to discover this obvious attempt to defraud us with a substantially different product than the one ordered. So far attempts to reach Dynasty for resolution have fallen on deaf ears. Buyer beware!!!!
Pretty good, with a few caveats (motion transfer and warranty)

I've had this mattress for 3 months. I bought the king. I'm a very light sleeper and had seen the reviews that there would be no 'transference' of motion from someone else in the bed. Unfortunately that's not true. Despite separate bases, there still some. Not a huge amount - and likely only to impact light sleepers like me - but it's there none-the-less and I get woken multiple times / night.
The company offers a '120 day warranty' - which sounds great - until you actually want to use it. They will take the return - but you need to ship it back yourself. So on a 124 lb king mattress I contacted USPS - too big. UPS - $500+. Fedex - $1000+ !!! I'm sure there are other cheaper options out there - but essentially - while the company will accept returns - it's not economically viable for anyone who doesn't live within driving distance of the return point.
I'd wanted to swap if for 2 twin XLs, which on their own bases would 'solve' the motion transfer. Since I couldn't send it back - I did what others have on Youtube - I cut it in half !! It's interesting to see that it's literally just several layers of foam. I can't imagine what the profit margin is like on these things - but it's got to be huge.
Anyway - the bed itself is comfortable. I'd rate it 4 stars for that. But marking down for the 'warranty' and motion transfer. If you're a light sleeper - consider two twins or something else.

Firm mattress is just what my back needed
Hawkeye_Couple✓ Verified Purchase•November 27, 2015
Have been using this mattress now for about 2 months and we really like it. It is definately FIRM. There has been a little bit of softening with the breaking in period but not much. We did encounter the smell that so many people have complained about. Very strong at first but it gradually gets better. It took at least 3 weeks to go away completely. So far happy with the purchase though. I will update if that changes.
Best I've owned.

I've always had back problems since I hurt myself years ago. I've always slept on a firm spring mattress. Well my fiance has this same bed and every since I've slept on it I couldn't seem to ever get a goods night sleep on my bed. So I thought I would buy myself one for my house and I absolutely love it. It's literally the best sleep and most comfortable sleep I've had in a really long time with my back issues. I do say though if you fall asleep and wake up 10 hours later, I was a little stiff because I don't toss and turn. You really just lay there in one spot the whole night because it's so supportive of your body no matter what kind of sleeper you are.
It does come with two memory foam pillows as well. I did not like those, they gave me a neck ache. So I just sleep on a soft down pillow and it's perfect.
The packaging is great. I comes in about a 7 foot tall box that's maybe 20 inches wide all the way around. The bed is rolled up and vacuumed sealed. It take about a day to fully expand. I have it two days standing up against my living room wall to fully expand. It's not too heavy. I moved it to my room by myself. I think this mattress is great. It's firm but also very supportive.

Couldn't be happier!!

General Use Observations:
We bought this bed about 10 days ago, but wanted to wait a little while to fully experience the mattress before reviewing the product to make sure we are truly satisfied with it. So far we have no complaints about it at all, and both my husband and I look forward to crawling in bed every night! He says I wake up less during the night, rolling over or trying to get comfortable. He and I both are no longer waking up with any soreness or aching. We are both side sleepers, and we have found that we can practically stay in the same position all night and not wake up feeling sore or achy from sleeping on that side for too long.
Unpacking:
It came in a tall box, maybe 4 or 5 feet long, about 2.5 ft sq wide, and weighed about 65 lbs. When we opened the box, it was rolled up (top to bottom) and wrapped in a couple layers of plastic that were vacuum sealed. Once we broke into the vacuum sealed inner layer of plastic, the mattress immediately began to expand. We cut all of the plastic away, unrolled the mattress, and set it on the bed. Within 4 or 5 hours it had expanded from maybe 4in. thick to about 10 or 11in. thick, which was most of its height. By the next day or two, it had completely expanded and filled up all of the space inside the beautiful cover. (The photo was taken the night we unpacked it, maybe 2-3 hours afterward)
Chemical Smell:
Everyone (including myself before purchasing) seems to be worried about the strong chemical smell that can be associated with memory foam beds. I have to say, once we opened the box, and cut open the plastic I did not immediately notice a chemical smell of any kind. After we finished unpacking it and set it up to expand on our bed frame, we shut the door and left it alone for a few hours. When I went back into the bedroom hours later, I did notice the smell for the first time, but by no means was it intolerable. It does smell a little bit chemical, but it's not a strong-fumes type of chemical smell, like that of kitchen & bathroom cleaners, bleach, etc. It isn't anywhere near that strong or that potent. After more than a week of use, I'd say the smell is completely gone now, but it didn't really bother us in the first place.
Comfort Level:
It is definitely a firm mattress, but not uncomfortably so. When I first sat on it, I began to immediately wonder if it was too firm. However, before I could really finish that thought I realized I was slowly sort-of melting into it and the material was conforming to me. There's no "push-back" feeling like spring-coiled mattresses, which is what we had before. Also it's much more dense than cheaper generic "their brand" versions found in locally-owned-type mattress stores. My parents have one of those types, a generic brand of memory foam mattress, that's essentially a giant magic-eraser-feeling sponge (and as light as one too). Hers is semi-comfortable, but is still nothing compared to this Dynasty mattress, and the cost difference between the two isn't even that extreme - probably only $150-$200. Considering this mattress was about $440, the extra money is WELL WORTH it.
Temperature:
Neither my husband nor I have found that we get hot during the night on this mattress. It was a concern of ours, since the mattress material isn't made up of natural materials and we assumed it wouldn't "breathe" well. However, the cooling technology they've infused in this model seems to really be worth it. My husband always goes to bed feeling hot, and I always go to bed feeling cold, so I was more concerned about him getting hot during the night. So far that has not been an issue for either of us.
Included Pillows:
We both have tried using them. They are comfortable for generic use, like if you want to use it on the couch for extra support (because they are both pretty firm), but for sleeping on it at night, I don't think either of us like them very much. They were free, so we aren't complaining about them really. It's always good to have extra pillows around the house for guests and memory foam pillows aren't that cheap, generally. These are maybe too dense, and maybe even too thick, as I've found when I have tried using it at night, my head is angled upward when laying my head on it. It's not necessarily uncomfortable --I've used worse pillows-- but it's not as good as the memory foam pillows we already had, with cooling gel pockets on one side.
Those are all of the things I wanted to know before making our purchase. Hopefully my information helps some of you potential buyers out there who are looking at this mattress. My husband did find this mattress brand is rated highly all over various mattress rating sites (not just on Amazon). We really couldn't be any happier with it!!
