Very stable - UpRise requires practice

Pro: Best walker I've ever used, wider-very stable footprint, feel much more secure & stable using this wider footprint than with my standard run-of-the-mill walkers.
Con: In order to take advantage of the UpRise feature, you MUST have the walker as far back as possible. If you can get the legs even with or slightly behind your body mass, the UpRise works well. If the legs are even slightly forward of your body, the walker tilts backward hitting you in your face. Very dangerous if used incorrectly. Trial & error it before placing your full weight on the "UpRise!"

Even using it, getting out of a low chair is still a struggle.

My husband needed temporary walking and balance assistance upon being discharged from the hospital. This walker turned out to be perfect for our purposes. We knew we needed one that was "weight rated" for a large person yet, lightweight enough to be maneuvered easily. The fact that it did not have wheels was a plus, since being able to use it to balance was as important as walking. It was relatively inexpensive and arrived to our porch within about 36 hours after purchase. I would definitely recommend this product!

Believe more of this design should be available . It helps me rise with lower level and upper level is a little higher than regular model walkers so help to stand straighter
It is lightweight and easily stored and a great help

I purchased this walked when I could no longer get myself up from a sitting position due to a knee injury. It is lightweight and easily stored and a great help. My husband also used it following surgery.
