all the walkers i had searched for were too wide to get through our narrow doors and i had just about given up until i thought about searching for narrow walkers and found your site. our daughter inlaw put the walker together for us and my wife is now able to go through our narrow doors without having to put the walker sideways and pushing through the door. the wheels are on the inside of the walker. the arm rest were a hinderance because of the extra width my wife s arms added so they were removed and she uses the handles on the walker she also likes that it can fold up

I had to assemble this unit with the wheels to the inside, and I still had to go beyond the last stop to get it narrow enough to clear a 21.5" bathroom door opening. This will not adjust to 18" overall width unless you can cut and weld. The screw clamp on the width adjustment rail made it possible to narrow the unit without using the last adjustment hole, which was good. This will work well for limited indoor use, but I would not use it for prolonged outdoor use.

Her bathroom and house is very narrow. This works perfectly. When i insisted she try it, she hasn't fallen and she loves it. She keeps saying it's her lifeline. It's adjustable all the way. Hi, so my dad's house was built in the early 1900s and he is now in a downstairs bedroom in need of using a walker. The door to his bedroom is 20 in to 21 in wide which made it extremely difficult to use a regular walker. I just got this Walker and adjusted it to its lowest setting and it is perfect it can now fit through the doorway with about a half inch to an inch on each side... it is sturdy too which is great! This is a game changer for us for sure! We didn't need the underarm pieces but we just left them in the box and probably will just throw those out. It also took me about 4 minutes to put the walker together and adjust it to the right size height and width. Worth every penny!

Friend has brain cancer that causes her mobility issues. We got it for the color, not the armrests, but they have become the best part of the walker. She spent 2 weeks doing PT at the hospital and they were ecstatic about the arm rests. With her body weakness from the cancer she was having a lot of falls trying to use a standard walker because when her leg gives out, her arm soon gives out as well. With the armrests, the weight stays on her upper arms and she doesn't fall.
