This is my second order for these treats, and the puppy is only 11 weeks old! She has not finished the first bag yet, but I would never want to be without them, so we now have this second bag to be prepared!
The treats are fairly flat and about half the length of my pinkie finger. So for a new puppy, each will break into 3 or 4 pieces. We use them for "potty training", and she looks up for that treat!

This seems to be the Cadillac of dog treats. We used this as a special treat only for potty training, so when she went outside in her designated area she got a treat right away. It seems to be the treat she likes the most. It is definitely smelly. The chunks are pretty large for a puppy, but since they are dry I just break each into a few pieces and keep them around.

We just adopted a new puppy (15wk old wire haired pointing griffon mix) - he's a stray farm pup from Arkansas... needless to say, had ZERO idea where or when to use the bathroom. I love these! I am process of training a new puppy, and these are great. I had the ones in a tub.. have you tried breaking those up?? Just crumbles away. These I can break apart into small pieces. He is a chihuahua.. I started giving him these at 7 wks (he was just 2 1/2 lbs) and he loves these. He has no problem chewing them. And it has made training easier since he REALLY wants one of these! I can't say good boy without him looking over to the jar that is holding them. Be aware not every piece can be broken.. some are a tad thick, but most of them are a thin slice that easily crack without crumbling.
