You need to rotate your inventory. The order received in January is newer than the order received in February. Pillsbury makes a great product, the but the shelf life of the product received 1 month later is 5 months older.

There is a lot of sugar-free stuff out there, and it ranges from really awful to really great. This mix falls into the really great category. I ordered this from Amazon because I can no longer find it anywhere in my area.

I truly doubt if anyone could tell that this is a sugar-free product. The muffins are moist, and the cinnamon filler tastes wonderful. I usually bake this more like a sheet cake, and sprinkle the cinnamon filler on the top. I also add pecans, and sometimes blueberries just to make them taste even better.

I was kind of worried about the expiration date since it'll take me quite a while to use up 12 boxes of this, but was happy to see that the expiration date is 11 months from now. That I can deal with.

I was thrilled to find the cinnamon swirl quick bread mix. It is just like the old Cinnamon Swirl Cake mix I used to use to make in a bundt pan. Now I just use two boxes and create the cake that my family always loved. 45 minutes in the oven at the same temperature the box calls for. The best!!
BTW, I actually use a round two piece insert type cake pan, not a true bundt pan. After baking I slip off the surrounding pan and let cake cool. Then loosen bottom of cake from the metal bottom with a knife, flip onto one plate and then flip onto another plate before glazing. Looks terrific.

I thought buying a six pack of mix was going to be way too much. Boy was I wrong. I used the first two boxes to make gingerbread cake for a bake sale. I used the second two boxes to make gingerbread men for gift boxes (and enjoyed a few myself, so good!) The last two boxes are going to be just fine for a gingerbread house. Someone else's review said may be too soft for a house but my gingerbread men were very firm. Just make sure you follow instructions for the rolled/cookie cutter cookies.

They've taken this out of the grocery stores around us and it is so much better than Betty Crocker. It bakes up beautifully and has a great taste. I make a lemon sauce to go on top, and it is really delicious.
