After reading some of the reviews I can agree with two things"¦ 1. Yes the flavor is a bit odd HOWEVER, MY KID lovesssss it (I don't lol) Sometimes I add a bit of pure cocoa powder to it to make it EXTRA chocolaty and that makes it even better. 2. It's definitely barely half full, but seems to me that's the new norm with everything these days"¦. Big box and very little inside.

***UPDATE ON ORIGINAL 4 STAR REVIEW*** I will not reorder and wish I could return it for a " I am NOT satisfied" refund. I tried a few more times to blend away the horrid taste but it is just not gonna happen. I drink wheat juice juice powder over ice daily so taste is not usually an issue for me but this stuff is just awful. It would not be beneficial if you heat it up say in a cookie or brownie so that is not an option ( um, and those are not healthy so....). It is packed full of good stuff but if you can;t drink it then....It may work for some kids and adults but there is not chocolate taste, not sure what the taste is. My son uses a liquid vitamin and a probiotic. He is also not a picky eater he eats his fruits and veggies and even fish, I got this for "down time" when he doesn't feel good or we are traveling to make sure to balance out his diet. I wish it would work out but nope!

Okay, this is not a tasty kid friendly drink....it is healthy though and that is why I will still give it 4 stars. My son is 2 and he usually will eat ( and drink) anything that doesn't eat him first...he is anything but picky. He took a huge gulp of this and then shot it out of his mouth like a fountain..

I tried it in almond and cashew milks, I also have tossed in a banana in the blender and I will try again with homemade chocolate milk and maybe a touch of peanut butter...I have no idea otherwise how to get this down into his belly...I must say it really is kinda funky. I swear it has an aftertaste like artificial sweeteners leave, I also looked all over and didn't see that it has anything like Stevia either ( which is awful and bitter).

My son is not a chocolate milk kid, he has had it twice so he really has no taste comparison to go on, since he enjoyed the chocolate milk he had last week I went a head and got this in chocolate over berry. Mainly I was afraid that this would happen and I would prefer chocolate over berry, LOL.

The scoop is small and the container is a little over half full, it is sold by weight not volume so it will settle after packing, this is pretty much the standard and the usual for anything powder in a container. The overall nutritional value is great but not so sure he will drink it, I will keep mixing it into "formulas" but I also will probably drink it myself like the last three times I tried....

My child loves this and will ask for more!! We mix with milk!

My son is autistic and struggles immensely with texture. He will not eat ANY vegetables and will only eat a few fruits in a smoothie if they are well hidden. My husband and I have become very concerned for his health, so I went looking for a protein powder that would help to give him some extra nutrients. I spent hours comparing ingredients, and this is the cleanest one I could find. I refuse to give my autistic son any sucralose or any other synthetic sugars, so it was wonderful to find this option! After opening it, I was really worried that he wouldn't drink it, because the spirulina smell is pretty strong, as is the taste. I have been buying a hot chocolate mix that has cocoa and monk fruit instead of normal sugar. I added a tablespoon of that to the mix and my son drank it right down!! So far, the plan is working great and I'm so happy and thankful to be able to finally get him some good nutrients. For those who are interested, monk fruit is safe for kids, and can be mixed in equal parts with cocoa to make a healthy chocolate milk mix. I love the Lankanto brand.

I love this product and from a parent view it's great! My child loves his chocolate milk. Asks for it all the time. During his younger years I tried different powders and this is the one that he drank with no issues. He loves it. He was and still is pretty picky. I think he has strong taste buds because he will just has strong taste aversions. I've read the comments and people seem shocked that the powder is settled and looks low. Trust me this powder lasts. You are buying a container with 30 servings and 30 servings u get! You will not get less than the stated servings your supposed to get. So don't let how it looks deter you from trying. If you have a kid like mine who needs greens but doesn't eat them, do buy this powder. I've used it for years and my kids love it. He's 10 now and still asks me to buy it.
