This herbal product is pretty easy on my digestive system. Compared to eating black radish from the supermarket. It seems to be a good addition for my routine. I use herbs and vitamins on a regular basis. This is pricey for an herbal but you get a lot of tablets and a recommended dose per day is one tablet. I can't make tea out of the tablets, that's what was recommended to me but taking the tablets seems to be working through my system nicely. They are strong smelling but keeping the bottle sealed properly solves any escaping oder. Which is what you should do with all supplements to keep them fresh.

Through my chiropractor, I had a mineral analysis done of my hair. Based on the laboratory's findings and recommendations, I have been using Standard Process supplements for two years now. Subsequent hair analysis has shown an improvement in hair analysis results. I can also say I feel and sleep better. Digest better, too. I recommend if you try this route, find a chiropractor or holistic doctor and have this hair analysis done so you consume the supplements only you need. The analysis is an eye-opener.

My chiropractor calls me his health champion, and everyone is surprised that I just turned 70.

Interesting side note: My dog's chiropractor recommended Standard Process products to me, and I had never mentioned my supplements to her.

I see a holistic doctor / chiropractor and I had an issue with my kidneys and he suggested this gem and that if there was any stones or anything else they would be resolved. Sure enough instead of having surgery for kidney stones after 2-3 days all stones were gone. Yeah! No more lower back pain or anything. I now take these on a regular basis to avoid getting kidney stones. Highly recommend.

Product could have used better packaging, but was sufficient overall.

This product was a godsend for me. I had my gallbladder removed 10 years ago. About three years ago I had a bout of intense stomach problem, with burping every ten minutes, gnawing hunger, and unhappy stomach. It was extremely awful. this problem continued off and on for years. Chinese herbs did help to quell the symptoms, but it always returned. i tried many many supplements and nothing would do the trick. I tried Black Radish and it cleared up my symptoms immediately, and they have been gone for a while now. I went to a Gastroenterologist who had said nothing could really help me, it was a misfunctioning of part of my digestive system. On my follow up visit, I told him i had just found out about this supplement and it was working. together we looked it up on pubmed. It said black radish restores bile function, which seemed to be the problem I was having. He seemed truly amazed. This product has been a godsend to me. my issues had been thought to be acid reflux at first, but it was not, it was a malfunction of the liver/bile function, probably related to my gallbladder removal. The one thing about this product is I cant take more than one pill, as it causes me to have to pee excessively. It must have a diuretic effect at higher doses. but if I take less I do not have this problem. I would recommend drinking more water while taking it if you get dehydrated. It took a lot of experimenting (and suffering) trying many different supplements to get to this one. if you have gallbladder issues or gallbladder removal or problems digesting fat, or any of the symptoms I describe, give it a try! I have not tried other brands of black radish, but they may be equally effective.
