Now don't be grossed out, but this is perfect as our Poop Can. We keep it near the back door, lined with a couple of doubled-up plastics bags from the grocery store. Our rescues weigh 15 and 35 pounds, so their... "trash" only has to be emptied once a week. We tie it up, throw it into the bin, and start over with new liners. I chose this brand because of the lid, and because I've used it before and know the step feature is dependable. If you buy this kind of thing in the Pet Department, it's way more expensive, and this does the trick just as well. We're on our second year with it, and having no issues.

I bought a simplehuman trash can for my kitchen about 6 years ago. It is similar to this one and has worked flawlessly. My bathroom trash can bit the dust so I got this one based on prior experience. I am not disappointed. This one is perfectly sized for the bathroom (small) and there are many types of plastic bags that fit. I use produce bags from the grocery store. Just tuck the edges around the inner bin and you are good to go. One bag can last for quite awhile if you reuse them. I only wish they offered it in brown but black is fine. Highly recommend.
