I waited a long time to purchase this product for our in home espresso machine. We love trying beans from different roasters and this product had us convinced we weren't maximizing the quality of the beans we were buying (which is an expensive 'treat' if I do say so myself). Thought that using these in between roasts would help us not only differentiate and actually taste what we were paying for but appreciate different grinds over time. I'm an average consumer but can appreciate different types of beans but this product didn't really do anything other than give us peace of mind our grinder was a bit cleaner. We noticed no difference in taste or texture with our beans prior to using this. Note: we have been using The Barista Express Espresso Machine from Breville for 2 years before starting this product. We purchased roughly 6 months ago and use it every time we change out our beans (roughly every 2-3 weeks). I liked the idea of this product but for what it cost, I didn't notice enough of a difference to repurchase.

Wow, I didn't expect this to make that much of a difference. I used this on my Breville coffee grinder.
I always clean my coffee maker but I noticed the taste is still not the same as when it was new. I got some advice that it might be the coffee grinder and decided to use this product to clean it. So I clean my coffee machine (using the Urnex Cleancaf powder) and Grindz for the coffee grinder. My coffee tastes great again.

This product does a reasonable job of cleaning my burr grinder that grinds a lot of oily Italian Espresso Roast beans. I can do a better job cleaning with disassembly, but this is fast and easy and does an adequate job in a small fraction of the time required to disassemble and reassemble my Rancillio Rocky coffee bean grinder.

A must have for cleaning coffee grinders. Don't ever waste your money on the three 1.2 ounce packages from Grindz. This is a much greater value and it does a superb job of cleaning residual coffee oils.

Urnex products are the standard in Espresso Machine & Grinder care. Grindz doesn't disappoint. It quickly cleans out stale grinds as well cleans the grinder's burrs. A few tablets is all that's needed to purge & maintain your grinder.

I usually manually clean the burrs with a brush before & after using Grindz but you shouldn't really need to. Usage is simple, weigh out a few tablets, put them into your bean hopper & grind until all have been ground. Follow through with some new beans and grind until you no longer see the white grounds of Grindz.

Grindz is food safe and leaves no taste in your grinder. You'll enjoy a great cup of immediately after using Grindz.
