Unfortunately this hose crimps so easily!! Every time I use it it I have to go back and try to straighten out the kinks. My last hose never did this. I would not recommend this hose. My new automatic hose winder specified needing a thinner hose than the heavier better quality.
Worked fine for 4 years until....

We have 4 hoses around our garden. This hose has lasted 4 years and in that time we have replaced at least 2 Gilmores which are quite a bit more expensive than this particular Flexon. it only finally gave up the ghost when, in desperation to find a hose nozzle that didn't leak, i purchased a Nelson. This monster weighs nearly 2 lbs, is very unwieldily at 8-1/2 inches long and as a result put too much strain on the hose connection causing it to leak. i will not be using the Nelson nozzle again, anyone want a boat anchor ??? note: Gilmore would not honor its lifetime replacement warranty, another reason i switched exclusively to the Flexon.
Worst hose I have ever bought.

This hose is bad. Within two weeks of using it, a slit opened up on it and prior to that, it kinked constantly. I have never had such a shoddily constructed hose.
Light Weight shouldn't equate to low quality

I returned this item within 3weeks of having received it as it didn't hold pressure.
