Rusty-lift jack
Amazon Customer✓ Verified PurchaseMay 16, 2018
Really wish Hi-Lift would create a jack that didn't start rusting in as little as 4 days, especially when they advertise this jack as having the "greatest rust resistance". You would think they would take this into consideration since most are mounted on the outside of a vehicle. I'm sure the jack will function just fine, but when you have invested a lot of time into building a rig that you would like to keep rust free it would be nice if the jack did not rust so easily. Better yet they should just sell an all rubber case that the jack can be inserted into and then the case can be mounted to the vehicle. the one company that was building an all plastic case appears to no longer be.
This is one of the most under-utilized tools on the market.

All American. Only way to jack up my truck and change a tire! If you drive a lifted vehicle - use this. Also can be used as a Come-Along. There are so many uses for this - I know a guy that used this to pry open a door of a totaled vehicle - the uses are endless. This is mounted in the bed of my truck and will be mounted in the bed of all of my trucks going forwards.
Terrible quality finish

I am very disappointed in the finish. It came and it was chipped and the finish was flaking off. Have several rusted spots on this which I am not happy about since it's supposed to be coated with stuff that will prevent rust. Several areas have either flaked off completely and rusted or will flake of with a light touch. Not sure if it is due to how it was treated by the seller when packaged or if this is the quality to be expected by the company but I'm very disappointed.
Fantastic product. Worth every penny.

fantastic product, worth every penny. There are other cheaper jacks out there, but after researching the amount of returned broken jacks from other mfg. the few extra dollars spent are well worth it. As they say: if you buy crap you get crap. Do yourself a favor by the best out there, don't buy the cheap crappy ones. You will not be happy if you do.
Yup, it works

I think you either need aftermarket bumpers or the wheel attachment. I've used it a bunch, and just this morning. I use a block of wood, crank up the jack, and jam logs/rocks in the hole your wheels made. Spray the hell out of it with wd40, handle ALL the way up and ALL the way down with some oomph.
