I saw from other reviews that the product looked used. That wasn't the case for mine. It looked as new as a ladder can. it was level with no visible warps or deformities. It wasn't in a box so it did have some wear issues from transport, but that's to be expected. In the end, it's sturdy. Also, it is incredibly light. I was actually surprised. I'm glad that I didn't go with aluminum. Some people have asked about standing on the very top. I have no intentions of ever doing that so I don't know.
