This is a solid, stable ironing board, an essential for someone like me with sews. I got the wider one (C rather than B) and I'm so glad I did. With the metal shelf for the iron, it's easy to iron the entire side seam of a 52" dress. With the extra width, it's MUCH easier to iron fabric I've pre-washed. It opens and closes easily, and isn't too heavy for me to lift (78 yo and definitely a Minnie Mouse).

The most sturdy and height appropriate I have ever used. I am 6'5" tall so great for me. My wife is 5'5" tall and adjust to fit her as well. It is heavy so be prepared for that.

I just received this ironing board and I already love it. I have sewed and crafted for years and now I quilt and the ironing board that I just got rid of was a cheap ironing board from my bridal shower and it has lasted 48 years. There is no comparison in that old ironing board to this one. I'll never have to buy another ironing board as long as I live. The quality is really nice. The legs are very sturdy. It is just a little wobbly as it is sitting on carpet, but not a big deal. The pad and cover are very good quality. I am going to love the extra 18 inch width when I go to ironing fabric for my quilt. For the money this is a very good ironing board and I'm so glad that I bought it.
