First ironing board update in 25 years. I love it.

I've had the same ironing board for at least 25 years. I use it for sewing as well as household ironing and I needed an update. The boards at the local stores seemed expensive and flimsy so I did a lot of research. I ordered this one because of the reviews for how solid it is. I really do like it. I've been using it for a few months now.
My complaints are it's about an inch too low for me. I've gotten used to it but it's not as high as my old ones and I can tell. Also I don't like the iron holder. I don't use it as it seems like the iron could fall off easily and the few times I tried it I worried that the metal would scratch the plate of my expensive iron.
I like the color"”gray and rose gold"”I like the sturdy legs, it folds up quietly and easily, it's easy to move around while it's set up. I use it on carpet and I haven't had any problems.

Very good size and the fabric used for the board is good quality. The metal rest for the iron is very helpful as one does not have to fumble around and have the iron fall to the floor. The metal mesh of the board is small enough to prevent the ironing board fabric from sinking into it as it ages and create an uneven ironing surface. Sturdy enough for home use.

This ironing board is not too heavy, easy to fold down, and it can be hung on a sturdy hook.
It's just what I wanted and needed. (I had done plenty of investigating online for an ironing board.)
I opted for the lovely hummingbird pattern, even though it is not as practical, perhaps, as the alternative. I don't regret it, though, and just place a thin cloth on top when I steam iron, to protect it.
If you want a practical board which can easily fold and be placed in a narrow space, or on the back of a sturdy door, you have found it.
I iron every few days, and have really enjoyed using it. Thanks to those who make it available to us.

I have needed a new ironing board for years. I tried using a mini countertop one, and one that folded down while hung from the back of a door. Nothing compares to a good ironing board and I was willing to spend a bit more, but not a crazy amount.
I just tried it out and, overall, it seems to fit the bill. Really compact, lightweight yet sturdy and stable, easy to open, and nice, thick padding. I bought the one with Turbo Zone but haven't used it yet.
My big question is, why is the iron stand oriented horizontally?!
I've watched the demos and video reviews to see what I'm missing. Every video showed the iron resting face down on its plate, although one was slightly tipped. My T-Fal iron does not recommend setting it face down while in use, but I tried it anyway. The steam blasted out in that position! Not one of the videos showed the iron steaming so I wonder, why didn't it happen in those videos? It didn't show them turning the steam down or off before setting the iron down. What, don't people use steam?!
Also, my iron did not feel secure while placed in that area. It didn't fit snugly. Maybe it should be adjustable. It would be nice to have more guidance about how to use that stand.
Aside from that, I'm happy with my purchase!

We found the board shorter than expected and not as stable. It is however very light to move around.
