OMG!!! I've been looking for a high quality cover that fits my extra large Polder ironing board, for YEARS. I normally don't write reviews but I am so impressed by the quality and fit of this cover, I'm buying another right away so I have it a few years from now, when I need it. I iron every day because I make quilts. Most covers are a bit too narrow and I've had to use those elastic strips with clips to secure the cover...that never really work and often break. Not this one. This cover has a great padding, it's large enough to comfortably wrap all of the edges, there's elastic in all of the right places, and they have velcro strips that run under the board to tighten the cover. This cover is worth every penny!

Bought 17x56 for my old Polder 17x51 inch flat top ironing board. My metal board is well over 20 years old and it was very difficult to find a cover that fit and was pretty. I wasn't sure what size I needed from TIVIT and I may have gotten one that is too large, but I was able to to get a tight fit over the top of my board, so I am extremely happy. The material this is made from is wonderful and the padding is integrated. I will only purchase this brand from now on because it is well worth the price.
