I'm not big on dog foods lile this but I needed something for my mad Chihuahua who is old but will still do what hard dog food does for a dog. This dog food works he has picked up weight again he is happier this dog food is just soft enough not to hurt his teeth when eats but still firm enough to do what hard dog food does.

This is a good alternative for a dog that hard food is difficult or not tasty for them. I ended up switching to dry food because of the long term issues that soft food may cause on teeth but this was a good alternative. My dog refused to eat dry food but loved this one. I will admit I did not look at the content since I knew it was temporary. Also, natural foods seem to not sit well with any of the dogs I've had.

My 3 Malteses love them! We use these as treats and we have to hide them cause they will try to get through the box. I love the fact that they are individually wrapped and portion perfectly for my needs. There times if our dogs are good they get this as a meal. When they do. They devour it in minutes. These are so easy for them to chew as they are close to dry food ,but has a moist texture to them. My dogs are super picky eater as they been spoil to the point they refuse to eat any kind of dog food or treat. Except for these! We been feeding them human food since day one. I think the reason why they love these is because it has a higher protein crude compare to any other dog food out in the market. The ingredients are admittedly sketchy (beef by-products, soy, HFCS, etc) but my dog loves this stuff. We used to use it just as the occasional treat. Then our dog got diagnosed with terminal cancer, so we decided she can eat whatever she wants because she only has a few months left at best. Well, she only wants to eat this food! She absolutely loves it. She turned her nose up at hamburger, but she eats this food happily. So I guess it gets 5 stars! I probably wouldn't feed it to a healthy dog on a daily basis, though.

I actually use these as a treat for my dogs. They get one nugget apiece when they come in from doing their business. They love them! And this big box is a great deal compared to what I paid per box of 12 packets in the grocery store!
