I am a breeder of dachshunds, and have been for over 40 years. I find that they are a very picky breed when it comes to dog food.
I have tried numerous foods over the years and have found a lot of times the ones that are for small dogs are actually too big for them to really eat, or they don't like the taste.
My dogs love these and the pieces are very small, and easy for them to eat. Seem to be very nutritious and the pricing is great. My dogs are very healthy and have beautiful shiny coats.
This is one dog food I'm sticking with!

My grandparents have me order this for their Yorkie and Chihuahua, they've used this brand for many years however as they've gotten older they can no longer go into the stores to purchase it so I have it shipped to them which makes life so much easier on them! They swear by this brand and their pups live on average 16+ years! As they get older they add a little bit of water to soften it but it provides just enough nutrients to keep them healthy and living long happy lives.

This may not be a fair review, as my dogs are super picky! But for what it's worth, they won't eat this. Therefore, I can't rate the flavor! But it is quality dog food with a reasonable price, AND for small breeds, which is why I gave it four stars.

So far seems to be a winner for my two qudrapeds. They like it and can't wait to eat at dinner time. I use to buy Nutro, but it got so expensive so I switched to Diamond. The bits are small and perfect size for my little dogs. They switched without and problems. No diarhea or stomach problems.

This brand of dry food was recommended to me 8 years ago for my dog who is now 11 years old. She is a small breed, Jack Russell, so she enjoys the small kibble, but she has no problem with the "full sized" kibble from Diamond Naturals, as well.
