Good product for outdoor shooting
Amazon Customer•October 14, 2016
Good product for outdoor shooting. However I gave it 4 stars, because it's not jack compatible, and the special audio input cable is ridiculously expensive.
Nice Technology

Great product, once you get the batteries in...
... & Howard Leight Impact electronic earmuffs these are the best of the bunch

Compared to the el cheapo Caldwell & Howard Leight Impact electronic earmuffs these are the best of the bunch. Each earmuff has it's own electronics, volume control & microphone, sound quality is very good with no static/white noise. These also have a very good db rating for their price. I still keep the Impacts as a spare pair due to their low profile not getting in the way of my cheek rest with rifles, the Peltors are wide on the bottom. The Impacts only use two batteries which can be replaced by popping off the outside cover, replacing batteries in the Peltors require removing the foam ear cups which is tricky without a small screwdriver or blade, and use two batteries per earcup. Peltor also has a Rangemaster model that gets good reviews and is cheaper than the 6S.

These are my second pair. I love them and won't use any other brand or type of earpro.
