Got these for my 3-year-old daughter who has sensory processing disorder. She wears them on rides at Disneyland and also during the loud parades and shows. We got these specifically for Disney days (annual pass holders) but she asks to wear them whenever we vacuum or whenever something is just a bit too loud for her. She started preschool this year so I sent these with her for those moments she needs them and her teacher says she puts them on at nap time and sleeps great! She doesn't even nap at home! So we left that pair in her cubby at school and bought another pair to have for Disney and home! The fact that she wants to wear them is huge. I thought it was going to be a battle to get her to wear them but as soon as she noticed the difference in sounds she loves them and asks to wear them when she needs them. They must be comfortable if she's keeping them on her head and they muffle/block out the sounds that sends her into an anxiety attack. She can still hear me when she has them on but they muffle those loud noises just enough to not bother her at all. Can't say enough good things about these! Thank you for providing such a great, quality product to help our sensitive little ones.

Bought this for my 3 years son for the 4th of July because for some reason doesn't take after me and hates loud booms and fire. I'm in a aviation field in the military so I pretty much have the hearing level of a 60 years old at the ripe age of 23. Anyway like most toddlers he didn't like wearing them but by the end of the 1st firework it had them on his ears hands pushing them into his head and huddle against his mother.
Kids these days. . .😑
Anyway he adjusted to them well and begin to enjoy the public firework show we were watching.
He was able to hear us talk to him and respond to us with out a problem.
In a jam even a adult can wear these.
They are comfortable and well made and for the price you just can't beat it.
Will be holding onto these so when he's old enough to shoot guns he'll be ready to go.

Eh, so we've had two sets of these for a few years and have used them around 5 times or so. In my opinion these sets are overly engineered. The ear metal holders are literally held in by these two little slide in plastic pieces to the head band. On both sets these two little plastic pieces just pop out randomly. My kids are not rough on them (as kids should expected to be). In fact one time I was fixing the little plastic piece and I tried the head sets on just to make sure they were working and the piece popped out. I'm not certain as to why it does this as I've tested a few other times and they worked fine. In the end these little plastic inserts fell out somewhere in the yard, none to be found. I just think it's a poor design. I picked up a set of 3M head sets at home depot for $17 that are made for construction and are exactly the same ear size as these and fit my kids head's just the same. In addition the 3M sets are deeper and don't press against one of my kids ears. I find it odd that so many good reviews on here with just a poor design of headset. Maybe they've changed the design over the past 2 yrs since I got them. (again, yes 2-3 yrs from purchase for $14 bucks, I get it; however, the kids have used them ~5 times for $14 bucks, so really it's like 3.5 dollars per wear, seems high).

My 7 year old has Dyspraxia and is very sensitive to noise. Not just loud noise but noise period. For years I did not understand what was going on. I just knew she needed headphones as she is very prone to noise. I bought them and they are a life saver. I know longer feel bad for her when we're out and a baby cries or if we are at Disney the fireworks won't be too loud for her. I wish I wouldve thought to buy these sooner. Theyre comfortable and they came in her favorite color pink! Great fot for kids. I even tried them on and they were very comfortable.

Update:
We used them this weekend at Disney World and she did not want to take them off! They worked like a gem. I am just so sorry I didn't know about these when she was a lot younger!

I'm a 21 year old woman with sensory processing issues which causes pain and discomfort when I hear certain noises.

These help muffle loud sounds, and can help cancel out lower, bothersome, sounds.

They fit comfortably, however, I do wish that they muffled sound just a bit more. I can hear almost everything with them on, it's just slightly muffled; if someone is talking to me, I can hear and understand everything they say.

With that said, they do help when the landscapers are working and when I have to go out into a noisy environment. I actually slept through an alarm with these on.

Overall, these are great for babies, kids, and adults with hearing sensitivity. However, if you are extremely sensitive to noise, you might need to consider ones that muffle/cancel noise at a better decibel.
