Mine arrived in pieces as it was not packaged well; Amazon customer service was fabulous about issuing a refund. This was 1/4-1/2 inch thick, NOT anywhere near an inch in thickness nor at all sturdy. Additionally, I had purchased (elsewhere) a vanity made of this same finish & material (Bermuda sand) and it is not as sturdy/durable as I would have liked, and it does seem to be more difficult to keep clean after using it for 6 months now.
