This is a gorgeous sink and I was so excited to have it hung on the wall. Then when my plumber was putting in my gold pipes he said no gold strainer was fitter and underneath its grey! I am so upset I wish I never got this sink for this reason"¦. can anyone help?

Completely surprised by the quality of the sink. This vintage looking sink is exactly what I was looking for without the big price tag. We have it in our powder bath but have been using it as the dish washing station while we wait for our kitchen sink to be installed. It's gorgeous, heavy duty & durable. I love that it also comes with a strainer and a really good plug.

Ellai contacted me an fixed the instructions very promptly. They now show the correct wall mounting location for the brackets on Amazon site, I checked. They gave me a slight refund for my original troubles. Overall happy now with this sink. Very good customer service. Very nice sink.

I now have to rip apart my wall to move the support because the instructions say the mounting brackets go at the bottom. They actually go at the top. This is ridiculous.

The porcelain can easily be scratched when fitting a metal faucet and good luck getting many faucets to fit. I used an American standard wall mount faucetand had a terrible time finding fittings. Most of the fittings on Amazon are IPS fittings which they say if you wrap with tephlon tape will seal in an NPS thread .... I would not recommend as more often than not it will leak. So I went to a local plumbing store to buy some fittings which they had only to find out that the nipple coming off the back was not long enough to accommodate the thickness of a porcelain sink as most of these faucets are made for thin stainless steel commercial sinks. So I had to put a longer 2 inch nipple on the back which was too long ( 1 1/2inch nipple was too short) and make my own washers to get the faucet to fit snuggly .
