It worked great in the first week but then the stitching came loose. It is also big for a "small". I ordered another one from a different company in small but it came "children size" which is to small. I had to pay shipping back on that one :-(
I reordered the first one hoping the stitching will stay in tact this time! It is a great product if it holds together!

I'm writing this for my wife. She has a bad back that she says does not support her. She's been wearing some sort of a back support for the last ten years. She wears this one all the time. As soon as she gets up, she puts it on over what she is wearing. Later, she wears it under her clothes.

Reading the reviews made putting this on for the first time much easier than if I had to figure it out on my own (thank you, fellow reviewers.). Once on it was easy to adjust, it was comfortable enough that I did not need to wear anything underneath. It was lightweight and thin enough for me to wear even under my thinnest cashmere sweaters without detection. The straps were just snug enough to hold my shoulders back without being torture. I started out 1/2 hour a day for the first two days, then worked up to 4 hours a day within 2 weeks. After just a couple of weeks I noticed an improvement in my posture. Great product.

This is worth every penny! I wish I had purchased sooner. I wear a size 12-14 in ladies clothes and I bought size large, I would have been better off with a medium.

Because good posture has always been a challenge for me, I've been curious about these kind of products for years and finally decided to try one. The quality of this item is fine. Some people complained about it being itchy to wear next to skin; this is true, it's the nature of Velcro. It would be hard to get a good fit without the Velcro. I've been wearing it over a close fitting t-shirt so no itching. Of course, if it didn't itch next to skin, it would definitely be a 5-star item, because lets face it, this is not an item you want to be seen in. The size is great, and because of the Velcro it's totally adjustable to get the fit right.
I only wear this at night, gradually increasing the amount of time it's on, but that didn't take too long. This will not hold your posture rigidly in place; because of the elastic it's a more gentle pulling back of the shoulders. I don't wear it in the day because I have been told by physical therapists that posture correctors can actually weaken the back because they do the work your muscles should be doing. However, I figure my back muscles won't be building strength at night, and since I tend to sleep curled up in a fetal position, I use this item to pull my shoulders back so the muscles stretch instead of tightening forward. I work at a computer all day, so I need to give my muscles that counter stretch. I am finding it is helping me keep my shoulders back during the day even though I'm not wearing it just because I'm looser. And of course I exercise to strengthen my muscles. Hope this is helpful information.
