My daughter always has had to use a knee pillow of some sort because, when she was in first grade, she had multiple hip surgeries that cause her hip not to move side to side well. When lying on her side, the one leg can't rest comfortably against the other without putting strain on the hip, and popping a pillow between her knees makes all the difference. The problem with most pillows is that when she rolls over at night, she loses them. So I bought this as a gift for her, hoping it would help keep the pillow in place while she sleeps. My experience with it was that it was soft, squishy, durable and the color was nice.

My daughter says: I love it! The only problem I have with it is that it's got the memory foam, which is great, but it compresses a lot while using and it takes a long time for it to get its shape back and not be 'smooshed' before I can use it again. This helps it keep its shape at night, I guess, but if I move or change position, it doesn't fill back up full as fast as I'd like it to.

Other than that, she loves it, and likes it a lot better than using a regular pillow for knee support.

I bought this pillow in Dec of 2014 and I still use it every day! I am amazed that is has lasted this long, not only am I a rough sleeper, I am also over 250 lbs. The zipper to the cover did break off a few years ago, but other than that it's been great.
Honestly, I would recommend this pillow to anyone. Amazing quality. I will probably buy it again when I need a new one.

Anyway, great knee pillow. Buy it and make all your 30+ year old friends envious of your new purchase. It really helps align the hips and help with sciatica, or maybe it's placebo. Either way, delusion or fact, it helped. (And it's durable as heck and a great value!)

On the recommendation of my doc, I've been side sleeping with a pillow between my knees for the last seven months. While it did the job keeping my hips level and easing my lower back pain, it was bulky and disruptive to my sleep. Every time I rolled over (which I do a lot during the night), I would halfway wake up because the pillow would get tangled in the sheets and I'd have to adjust it. When I finally decided to see if there was something smaller I could use in its place, I was happy to find the Carex pillow. It looked to be the exact size and shape I needed. As it turns out I was right! It fits perfectly between either my knees or a little higher on the thigh and it stays put during the night, even when I roll over. Its shape allows it to just roll with me and because it's small, it doesn't get tangled in the sheets. I have slept SO much better since I got it a month ago. I read some reviews about it losing its shape quickly so I was a little concerned about that. It MAYBE is a little less "full" in the morning after being used all night, but it seems to bounce back and still provides enough cushion and leveling during the night for my needs. My back feels much better in the morning than it used to. I've seen some high priced pillows advertised especially for side sleepers with back issues (as much as $300), but for the price, I don't think you can beat the Carex. Even if I had to buy one a year because it lost its shape over time, it would be worth it.

Very good quality foam & excellent cover but for me it is a bit large. I developed a pain in my left hip after starting to use it. Since I put the pillow aside & started using one that is a bit thinner the discomfort in my hip is starting to clear up a bit. So it just wasn't the one for me. My old one was never as big & had gotten very compressed. I had thought I would enjpy this one but that turned out to not be the case. I'm a big guy and thought this would be perfect. You won't know what works for you until you try it.

I purchased this knee pillow for my partner, who'd been complaining of back pain from sleeping on our memory foam mattress. He tried sleeping with a regular pillow between his knees, which helped, but took up too much space, moved out from between his legs and onto my side of the bed. I'd heard the shape of knee pillows helps keep them between your legs, so, for my sanity, I bought him this pillow.

PROS:
The cover is soft and comfortable.
The pillow itself is firm, which he see as a plus. It's a bit too firm for my taste, but it maintains the distance of separation between his legs that he wants.
It stays between his legs until he removes it by hand.

CONS:
The zipper can be felt, which is somewhat irritating.

All in all, it's a great knee pillow, on the firmer side, which means it won't squish between your legs so that you lose support.
