Cut very well and hold up nice. I did purchase the cutting oil they sell also and it seems to help a lot when drilling.

These excellent quality drill bits are easy to use and drill an accurate hole size. The "split point" alleviates "bit walking" on smooth and/or contoured surfaces.

Can't even tell you how many sets of drills I've owned over the years, dozens, along with countless individual bits. I'd buy what i thought were good ones, including mostly "cobalt bits" for any metal work in recent years, and really thought i was getting the best I could. I was definitely wrong! I've only drilled a few things with these, but they really do blow through steel like you're drilling wood, just amazing. As always, to get the best results use a good lubricant like Tap Magic and keep your RPMs relatively low, and I suspect these will last a lifetime. Love that they're jobber length but have the three flats like a mechanics bit too, best of both worlds, and how they should all be made IMO.

I'm reading some reviews where people are upset that the smaller bits have broken. Unfortunately, there are no unbreakable 1/16" bits. Careful handling, watching your angles, pressure, speed, and lubrication is the only way to stop breaking them.

These drill bits are extremely sharp. I finally was able to use them today to drill through varying thicknesses of steel up to quarter inch and they didn't skip a beat. Right through like a hot knife through butter. I have been an automotive tech for 15 years and these are by a far sight the best drill bits I have ever used. Better than the Matco hyper bits or whatever they're called and for a fraction of the price. I've already decided that when this set dulls or a few break I will be repurchasing the same set again. You won't be disappointed by these drill bits fellas just go for it.
