Used this to stain a hand made longbow. I applied just two coats because I didn't want the bow to be "too" dark. Once this stain had dried, I then used Minwax spray on polyurethane(oil based) to seal it all up with. I'm no professional. I consider myself amateur hobbiest when it comes to doing this kind of work but I still think the finish on the bow came out pretty well. I think that using a quality stain and polyurethane helped a great deal as well.

A solid product! We've used this product for decades. It's so nice that they've kept this line going so we haven't had to search around to find something to match. It also has an amazing shelf-life. Also decades. We do use a clear top-coat.

Not exactly the color we (my wife) wanted for the bare wood microwave cart. It is really hard to pick a color or shade just by looking at the swatch on the label. This has a very slight reddish tint to it. The color we finally settled on (Special Walnut) isn't offered here. We found it a WM store. I can't say anything bad about the product though. It worked as advertised on a test area.

This cherry stain rubbed into my Eastern Red Cedar plank table top gave the white streaks some nice color, made the red areas really stand out and under the red tinted epoxy, really gets great reviews by friends.
